I assume your talking about lehr outboards? They were full of faults out of the gate. They have since resolved the problem and are pretty great if you have a little tender to mount one on. No worries about ethanol. The bigger motor uses basically a cordless drill battery for the electric start and it's all self contained so that's a major plus.

As for the smaller ones they just use a small cheap camp stove propane containers. Easy to store the extra containers without worry of spilling.

Then again what do I know I am sure three other people will step up and tell you how the small two strokes are better. Which I would love to see who is making a small two stroke anymore in the first place!

Yeah, the little Lehr caught my attention for a split second while looking up info on the nucanoe Frontier 12.

I have one of the Lehr grass trimmers and it works great. It runs a long time on one BBQ cylinder and always starts.

Lehr had some real fuel line problems the first few batches we saw. They however where quick to step up and fix them and I haven't seen much of a problem since other than the little tanks rusting away out here in salt water

So was out doing our promo video for this project this past week. It's now in the editing room but I did grab this screen shot of me cruising past the photo boat doing about 60mph two feet off there side...

Than I came back from that and this was waiting for me....

So- kind of curious. What do you use a 1114HP center console boat for?

The same thing you use a lifted jeep for... It's all functional but it also comes down to just having a bad ass set up.

Besides who wouldn't want this set up? The thing is flat out bad ass. Sweet ride, great sound system, all around useful boat

Ah. Dick swinging.

I was thinking along the lines of the huge outboards on some bass boats- to beat the competition in tournaments to the spot where you sit still.

Well out here it's get 100-150 miles offshore to the canyon and back as quick as possible. This used to be an overnight trip. It's now a day to half day trip with this set up
