Talking ever use dupli-color bed armor? Thoughts, opinion, advice.

I took the lights off the rear of my TJ because I'm going with round LEDs and found this:

I was just going to paint it but decided to give this a try:

just going to do the corners because they have a nice clean seam on each side so I think it will look pretty good. Just wondering if anybody has used this particular liner before and what they thought of it and any advice for application and Prep.

Thanks.

the package says to use two coats one hour apart. using a good automotive primer was suggested by the guy at advanced that has worked there since before the invention of the wheel. he said he has used it a few times and was very impressed with it. but, comming from the guy i was buying it from i just wanted some real life opinions.

thanks!

me too.

the kit came with a gallon of coating and everything to apply it. i'm sure i won't use half of that on these corners so i'm going to use the rest on my gas tank skid and/or bumpers.

it's also a single stage so it don't have a shelf life and can be stored to use the remaining product later.

if it turns out like the sample patch on the package, i will be very happy.

I've coated the last few pairs of bumpers I built with that and it holds up well.
