All that's left there is to bolt the mounts up, down pipe, and custom aluminum radiator. Feel like a kid at Christmas.

I'm dropping a powerstroke into a jeep cherokee chief. At least you have room for yours! Yours should be an awesome rig.

The best 730 am text this morning:

"its done"

Meaning:

drivetrain in, mounts completed, cross member modified, custom aluminum radiator built and in place, and electric fans mounted.

Hoping to pick up this weekend, waiting to hear back.

BTW, Congrats to Ritchie and the birth of their second child.

And of course pictures coming soon. Time to start kicking ass (hopefully)...

Truck is home. Bed is on. Plates coming (to keep the city happy). And took the massive ranch hand style bumper off the bronco and put on Eleanor. Despite the added weight of the 7.3 powertrain and the monster bumper, the rake looks factory correct almost. Pictures to come.

Things to do:
Sort out painless or somewhere else to build new wiring harness
determine where to mount the computers
once the computer mount is figure, time to figure out air cleaner positioning (or fabbing).
search for a Dana 60, quad shock front axle
drink beer....

Looking good. My build hasn't gone anywhere, hopefully this winter I'll be back on it. Haven't done any motor fitting on the cherokee yet. Gonna be tight that's all I know!

Thanks. it may not look like much to some, but to me its fawkin awesome.

Tight is an understatement. Even with mine, if it wasn't for the body lift, the situation of fitment may have been completely different.
Was going to take some pictures, just ran out of daylight.

Subscribed. Looks sweet. Just purchased dodge D350 crew sb. 1983. Get it this wed! I ALMOST drove to WY, but decided to have it shipped...that actually cost me less than the trip would have, but as I can see from your photo journal, I missed out on one hell of a cross country trip!

I am looking forward to the rest of your build, my long term plan is 12v in mine, currently has fresh 360.

For an air cleaner look into the tymar setup. Not the bullshit do it yourself!! Spend the $ and order one from Dale @ tymar. You'll like it.

The road trip was so worth it. Crazy a$$ 3.5 days, but I would do it again for sure.

What's wrong with the DIY set up?

Bumper from bronco on, won a new (NOS) bed cover with no instructions is on to protect the bed this winter, and just picked up a tilt column from insaneoffroader. But yet, haven't taken any pictures. Will get on that this weekend.

Default update

No pictures yet, was busy getting stuff together and spending.

Picked up a dana 60 axle for the front to help with Eleanor's girth. The guy I brought from is a member of the GL4X4, @CHEVY71. He will have many more delicious Ford parts for sale posted here soon. It was a package deal of the D60 and a Sterling Rear axle. Petty stout set up.

Also made a trip to BigChevy's house and picked up Ian's, @Mihlfeldl2005 (spell check) 37" Military OZ tires and rims. Great guy to do business with. Once I figure how to rate sellers, I will be sure to give a thumbs up. BTW, my kid couldnt stop talking about the "buggy" in the pole barn.

Guess I cant avoid the elephant in the room any longer; post pictures and tackle the wiring harness set up.

As discussed, if no pictures, then it didn't happen. So I picked up a Dana 60 and another Sterling axle.
