I don't get overbuilding for seasonal roads and icecream cones but people still do it.

Sadly, yes Actually an ice cream run would be a vast improvement over anything my Jeep has done the past 3 years

back to the rear 4 link
you arent going to a 14 bolt because it would cost too much money to run 15 inch wheels and 35s
you arent keeping any body at this point so why not build a cheap 14 bolt and get some 37/17s and take a grinder to the bottom of the 14
win win

I guess this is just a different stroke for different folks thing..
I dont want 37s, not full widths, especially not drum brakes, or an 800# axle.

I have spare 8.8 shafts... No worries.

So a bajillion hp and airshocks in the back? Not much angle to the center of the body either, you plan on running a sway bar in the rear?

Looks good, I like the lines.

Fair warning, I can almost guarantee your tires will get into the shocks under flex with them set up that close.

Yea, I wonder what proportion it is that gives it that look. I spent awhile trying to balance the lines.

I don't plan on any go-fast stuff, oddly enough. The shocks are mounted, it was just leaning there.

I know you guys posted that before I mentioned the shock is just leaning there.

Actual shock placement will be done today. They are set at 90* to the axle EDIT: (At full flex)

15 deg or so of /\ will really help resist body roll since you plan on driving it down the road. If build around anything in the back, the shock angles would be it. But that's just me. I'm just a keyboard warrior.

I just can't get a clear thought out today.

I meant, 90* at full flex.

They do end up at 20* or so(at ride height) when I set them to 90* at flex

Yes, I definitely want to control body roll with the shocks. I will also be mounting up cheapo swaybars for street driving

What stroke shock?
How much anticipated up travel at ride height?

I think it is the balance that give it that look, plus the big shocks
Plus the lack of skins in the back
Either way it looks sweet
