The agitator dogs can get stripped off pretty easy. Just fixed mine. Super easy and cheap.

Meaning the agitator actually spins as it goes through the wash cycle but it won't spin the water out to drain it? If so, check the safety switch on the lid.

Turn your clothes inside out. Washing is a myth.

This x3094583058093450934

It's not agitator dogs if it's agitating.

Everything is working as it should except it doesn't wanna go into spin. The only thing that would disable spin cycle is the safety switch on the lid.

If yours an older, simple top loader?

I know mine will do everything but spin cycle with the lid open. Sames goes with pretty much every non-whiz bang computerized top loader I have ever seen... and I used to work appliance service for a living before I joined the Army.

Mine is the same way (older Kenmore top loader), will do everything but spin with lid open

Also x2 on Repairclinic.com....pretty awesome sight.....not only gives specs and faqs for most appliance models but also gives diag/repair procedures, most of which include YouTube videos showing the process step by step.

Mine will do nothing but fill up with water with the lid open. It is a 10 year old kenmore that is a non-whizbang computerized top loader.
