Default Death Wabble

Took my K5 out for it's first test drive and got about 50yds down the road and got a bad death wabble, so i turned around and went back home. Checked all TRE's and everything was tight. Took it out again same issue. So i took my 39.5x15x15 TSL's off and put my rollers on and took it back out again. It fixed the issue, no more wabble. Now my tires aren't balanced and either have my last 2 sets....35' boggers & 38.5 monster mudders. I would like some input on balancing beads, how many people run them and how do they like them. I know it's more than likley gonna take a lot of weight to balance these ones, but from what i've read all i need is to put 12oz of beads into each tire and it should be fine..... Input would be great thanks!

Mine worked good when the tires were new but now that they are worn I have a wobble at about 60. I think I will add more to see if that helps. I went to the store and bought 4 99 cent tubes of bbs. Cheaper than balance bags.

If u had full hydro steering u wouldnt have the wobble. I could run down the road at speed w 44's without issue.

I run copper bb's in my swampers. Seem to do the trick. Just a handful in each.

I put airsoft pellets in my 39.5x13.5 with diy beadlocks. I went to the manufactures site for the tire beads, and added a few more oz. to each.

Myself and friends have run airsoft BBs in numerous vehicles with great results every time. Walmart sells some higher density ones so theoretically you'll need less of them. Your TSLs might not be round, so if that's the issue I'm not sure how much the BBs will help, but if they're just reasonably out of balance it should be an improvement. Since it was a first drive I assume it had been sitting a while, so your tires may have been flatspotted too. Give it a a few miles to work out the flat spots and that should help.

thats true as well with sitting. My bias iroks took a good 20 mile drive to school to become round again after sitting for 8 months.
