?? Something comfortable and good for someone new to carrying but who has been shooting for a long time and is comfortable with his gun. I intend to get my CPL and know the Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe is good for IWB but in the meantime I'd like to be able to take hikes open carrying, and probably still use the OWB when I do have my license. I Googled it but the results are overwhelming and I'd rather have the advice from you guys.

Thinking a belt loop holster so I'm open for advice on belts too. I have a big thick leather one already, will that work or do I need an actual gun belt?

For owb concealment, I love leather pancake holsters. They hold tight to your side, and conceal about as good as you can get for a owb holster, and they are comfortable.

I hate anything with only a single belt attachment, and those giant owb kydex monstrosities like Raven and the like.

I have a Desantis Thumb Break Scabbard that I got cheap and cut the thumb break off of, but they make models without the thumb break as well.

It may, if its stiff.

I've been wearing a Two Fools Leather Goods fat boy belt for a few years, love it.

Not the Safariland... just an option.

The Bianchi will work very nicely though. No plastic either.

Yeah, the bianchi is a nice holster.

MTR Custom Leather down here does decent leather holsters that don't break the bank too.

Bianchi makes very nice holsters. Lord knows they've been in the business for a LONNNGGG time and they are definitely duty certified just like Safariland.

Yeah I want the Bianchi but Cabelas only has the IWB version. I emailed their customer service hoping they can get the OWB because I have a gift card I want to use up. If not I'll just get it right from Bianchi.
