Yes it has interior noise. Not bad, but more than the 300. No vibrations and the ride is pretty good. We have 32k on ours so hopefully I make it past 40k

Oh yeah that is awesome. Never seen that before. I might order one. Along with a 9500 warn with synthetic rope. Been looking into air lockers as well. Can regear it to 4.88 to handle the 30" tires.

I still call BS! PICS!

a coworker just got a fully loaded one, I think with a V6 even? 4x4 with a 4 low from what she says! bigger stock rims etc. not a bad looking little wagon for a GMA. she wont have any issues around here in winter.

Of course. I'm not gonna do any of that stuff to it. It's just a daily driver. Might not even keep the wheels. My wife works in Detroit and doesn't want a vehicle that stands out. She's afraid of it getting broke into or something.

no v6 option. if it has 4 low its the 2.4l trail rated. the sport comes with 16s and any package higher comes with 17s.

Just went and picked up a Latitude for the wife. She is in absolute love with it. Not a bad little SUV.

Couldn't believe the salesman though! He damn near let us steal it! @AJ Hall

Oh... and it has the six speed trans with select shift!

They are all cvt. Mine has a selection of 6 "gears". They are just predetermined ratios that simulate shifting. Love the trans so far.

The 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot are here, and as expected, the big news is the availability of a six-speed automatic transmission on certain models. The transmission, sourced from PowerTech (a subsidiary of Hyundai) will attempt to address the noise, vibration and harshness issues suffered by older CVT-equipped models by using noise-resistant gears. It has a long sixth gear to improve fuel economy, but Jeep hasn't revealed the mileage numbers for the auto-equipped models yet.

I also just entered my fuel fill ups in fuelly and my first tank with 50/50 highway/city I got 25.4 MPG. Not to bad out of this little, as my boss calls it, Jeepcar.

We went out to dinner to celebrate the wife's new car and she never even noticed that I was manually shifting all the way to the pub

That sixth gear isn't available until 50+ mph though. It's a very smooth transmission to say the least. That four cylinder is kinda peppy too. I was surprised. The interior does offer plenty of room for the dogs and what not, pretty good leg room in the back seat for passengers and it's just a comfortable vehicle. Got a great deal on it too. Thanks again @AJ Hall

I'll post some pictures of the interior and what not after she gets off work this evening.

Sorry, didn't know he got a 2014. Just stating that mine says 1-6 on the indicator while in manual mode. So I assumed that his was the same.
