I'm in. I have some time I would be willing to give in helping design and build a course. Would love to come over and camp and have a good time and get something like this done.

Is that really going to benefit the park? Draw extra people in? I doubt it. I've been helping keep our local race track open for a while. Gimmicks like that do not work to bring new people in. It's easy to build people will use it, but don't expect it to bring in a new crowd. There doesn't seem to be an influx into our motorsports, other than 18 yr old hill jacks that can't spell GLFWDA.

It is possible to raise extra revenue for the park. If I remember right there was a baby sitting area for younger kids with little tykes slides and power wheel cars. It might be beneficial to use an R/C scramble area to keep middle aged kids to teens, even adults that came to spectate entertained either while their parents are possibly working on a rig, or during a large event while in between a heat or race. While I agree it might not bring in a huge crowd on its first day open, it would be a good starting to point for younger generations to just get out of the house and introduce them to off-roading.

I don't have a cup holder mounted on my remote for no reason! I would bring my rc with me. Well I did anyway.

This would not be any extra charge. Just a extra activity for your day or to fill the evening if camping.
Call me if your coming up and would like to look over a area and put in design aspect thoughts

Would this be a Rock Course or an Off-road Course or both?

My boy runs a heavily modified Nitro 3.3 and we are always looking for places to run it. However the Rock crawling courses are not really what this rig is set up for.

If packaged properly, it would be really easy to fit both I'm a small area... maybe with a fence around it.

I would totally use this. It COULD draw in people if it was really nicely setup.
