Default Fixable or not worth the time??

I am thinking about trading for 95 yj and I have a little bit of a drive to check it out in person, but they sent me picture and everything on the jeep looks good besides the floors .I just wanted a second opinion so I thought I would ask the jeep guys out there. The jeep is a 4 banger with manual trans and 160,000 miles trade value would be about 2500

If the rest of the Jeep is in good shape, the floors shouldn't be a big deal. It's the unseen stuff that adds up. Floors and body mounts may not be cheap depending where you shop. Seems a little pricey, but you never know.

Ya he said he was replacing that. I have a 99 dodge ram quad cab 2wd truck on trade. Just wanted to see what you guys thought about the jeep. He said it's the same way on both sides

Any ideas what the cost of fixing something like this would be?

Big x2! The frame is the backbone. Everything else is projects you do on it.

Complete floor pan set is $250. Installation is a learning experiece that you can't put a price on. Make friends with someone that can teach you to weld and make the Jeep yours.

you can buy a cheap 90amp harborfreight welder to do floors. put some decent flux core wire in them and they weld sheet metal decent.

the frame is the big worry. check it closely with a screwdriver, if you poke it and it goses thru, pass as you are looking at $2000 and alot of work for a new one.

And take a real good look at the last 18 inches in the back. If it's bad they are toast.

It looks like the skid plate may be welded to the frame.

Don't expect the jeep to ride and handle very good, and if you drive a lot of highway that jeeps gonna suck
