Default Baby Malachi

Two weeks ago tomorrow my guys sister went into labor with her first child 2 months early, they had to bring him into the world via emergency csection and he has been in the Nicu since. Despite being born so early and weighing just 3.5lbs he has been so strong and has been breathing on his own.

He was however born with a blockage in his intestines and had surgery to open them up Tuesday. Since then he has been having some troubles with his heart rythm.

I'm just requesting that anyone who has faith in the power of god please pray for this sweet boy.

I currently have a Child in the NICU at UofM. She was born at 1lbs 9ozs(1lb 1oz was her lowest) also was born via Emergency C-section. She's Currently steaming ahead at 4lbs 9ozs(3months now), It's kind of like 2 steps forward 1 step back with how she's doing weekly but She is getting better day to day and that's all the matters.

I don't know if they offer it but when the bigger of our twins was having issue's with heart rhythm they put her on her mothers chest skin to skin. It's called Kangaroo care and it did wonders for her.

Positive thoughts coming your way!

Praying that the surgery heals with no complications and that the Lord would restore the heart rhythm to a natural state. In Jesus name, Amen

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your little one as well thank you.

Helen devos is big with the skin to skin but he just had abdominal surgery so her ability to hold him is kind of limited until he's healed up some.

I've worked in the Nicu for about 6 months and its become so normal but to see the other side in a personal way is so different. I can only pray to be as strong as she has been if I am ever in her shoes. God only gives you what you can handle and he is good and will keep this.boy safe and strong.
