That's why my YJ is getting a 700HP BBC. Just so I can climb test hill.
If you don't add NOS you will still be at the bottom looking up.

Was just there this weekend in a stock 2012 Rubicon. Tire pressure was set around 7-8 psi. Did test hill just fine in 2wd. Later in the day it was getting softer and had to put it in 4wd to make it without beating on my Jeep. If I would have taken more air out it probably would have been fine.

Was at Silver Lake this past Friday evening with my LJ running 33" BFG AT's, 4:56 gears and a 4 speed auto. I aired down to 10 psi and ran 4 low. The only place I couldn't make it up was the far right (west?) side of test hill where it is really steep. With the exception of test hill I probably could have got away with 4 high.

was there this weekend
'90 K5 blazer
8lbs frt 7lbs rr
33" BFG AT's

high range 1st on the column

made it up on left, right and center

but WOW, the lake was high, not leaving much beach area

lots of trees down, sand shifted, new dead wood exposed

they must of gotten some storms over there lately too.

Oh and the fog... Saturday night I was afraid to go to sleep after seeing all the fog coming in off the lake, well I assumed the lake was there but I could not see it, the fog was that heavy. Sitting where people line up at the bottom of test, in line with the entrance ramp, I could barely make out the outline of the top of test hill. That was about 7pm

sry no pics, I left my phone and camera at camp
