1997 Dodge Ram SLT Laramie, Club Cab 4x4
5.9L 360 TBI V8
208,xxx on the odo, VERY well maintained.
Truck runs superb and drives great too. You wouldn't know the mileage when you drive it. Recently r&r'd tie rods - front end is nice and tight.
4x4 works as it should, left axle joint has some minor clicking.
Typical Dodge rust on the body, but solid underneath. Frame is great.
Power windows, locks, etc. Everything works. Factory radio with JVC CD Changer (FM Transmitter) Interior is very nice.
Truck has 285/75/16 BFG Mud-Terrains. Rears are low on tread, fronts are just under half. Will get through the summer but you'll want a new set in the fall.
I could see this truck hitting 300k without surprise.
Single in Dual Out exhaust, sounds good with no leaks. Recently replaced the flange to the Pass. side manifold where it had a leak. Nice and smooth now. Exhaust is only 3 years old. Shocks are a little worn, but not terrible. Passenger side mirror is loose due to a corroded ball - replacements are cheap and easy to find. Does have a check engine light for a missing o2 sensor at the Cat. The P/O who did the exhaust pulled the o2 out and didn't redrill the hole in the new pipe. Easy fix!
1,000 miles on the last oil change, still nice, clean and full!
I've got a newer F-150 and I've used this Dodge mainly for fishing trips in the past few months. I don't need both trucks, though I wouldn't mind keeping it!
Looking for $1900, Will consider many things in trade. Older Truck? Muscle Car? Jeep? Bronco? Let me know what you have! Trades + cash on your end welcome as well.
Any questions, please respond or PM anytime and I'll get back to you right away. Can get more pics upon request.
Pics below taken 6/11/14. Excuse the mud, haven't washed it since fishing this past weekend. Pics don't show it well, but the hood and roof have paint fade as with many older Dodges. The shot of the rust is the worst spot on the truck, driver's side rear wheel well. The rockers are solid, as you can see!
