Oh yeah, I looked at the steel plates again today...I was wrong in my 3/8" guess, they are a little over 1/2" on the outer edge, and about 5/8" in the center. For the price (free), I'll give them a shot.

CPL Finally Renewed, it feels good to carry again. Also. I like the new CPL, its actually hard plastic like a Drivers License, not a paper POS.

I don't want to draw across my body and am looking for something that positions my weapon in the 4/5 o'clock position on the waist.

I've looked a a few and they seem more "cute" than anything.
Is there a particular brand I should look for?

...seriously, something that looks like a mini corsette with pretty pink laces probably won't hold up long and is not what I'm after.
