Default TJ New Axle/s

Broke an axle shaft on my D35 (no surprise) and am ready for an upgrade. Looking for opinions on axle sets for a 2000 TJ (Currently 3" BDS lift and 33") eventually looking to run something in the 36" range with a moderate build. Any help/thoughts would be appreciated.

I agree the Ford 8.8 is a nice upgrade and you also get disc brakes with it from a 95-01' Ford Explorer or Mercury Mountaineer.
Same bolt pattern 5 on 4.5
Go from 27 to 31 spline axle shafts (d35 vs Ford 8.8)
It is slightly narrower tho you might need some spacers in the rear depending on what rims and tires you have with how much backspacing.
If you are talking about going over much over 33s like 36" tires you are getting a bit past the LP30 your TJ has and it will get expensive quick going with dana 44s, 44/9", or if you go bigger still like 37-42s then heavy dana 60s and lots of custom stuff are in your future!

Agreed on the 8.8. By far the best bang for the buck if you're keeping it simple.

I will go $250 if it has 3.73 gears. Do you have any pics of it? Does this have the 4.0l or the 2.5l?
