Good point. We do not golf-yet, maybe someday. She will not go canoeing, there was a spider issue a few years ago and she is not ready to go out again. Mostly just looking to relax a bit. My daughter is having a baby very soon, and my wife will be helping her out so I want some down time before then.

I'm assuming it's when you run into branches. You end up covered in spiders.

Well she hates spiders. The canoe flipped and she was clinging to a log because the current was pretty strong from recent rainfall, and there were huge spiders on the log. The canoe livery guys called them fish spiders. I guess they sit on logs near the water and catch small fish. I cannot even bring up anything about going canoeing. Sucks because I enjoy it.

to us, a B & B emphasizes the away-from-it-all mentality. homely yet no cooking. no making the bed. none of the household chores routine. i believe a lot of ladies would find that a great satisfaction.

Can't go wrong with any of the beach towns on the west side of the state. The east side isn't too bad either, but not as entertaining to me.

get a place for a few days here:
http://www.dollybrookresort.com/Doll...elcome%21.html

take her to tour Fenn Valley winery, shop in downtown Saugatuck, and catch a dune ride at the north end of town.
