Do the math.
5 days of marathon kicking ass to do repairs.
1 day of UPS overnight to get the parts.
Loonie Run is first week of October.

He will order the parts around mid September.

Going to try to fix my mistake from the VSS signal by turning some aluminum to fit lower into the trans. I think that's my best option for fixing the issue. Once I get past that I'll tie up the t-case input swap and figure out if I need to make a different D300 indexing plate. I know about what angle it was at so I'm going to start there. I won't know if I'm in the right place until the drivetrain is sitting in the body but it should at least be close. I'll hold off on sealing that joint up until it's under the vehicle. I thought it was my shifter rails leaking so much with the last setup but it was actually weeping between the trans and the T-case because the Permatex I used broke down. Running an auto that's not going to be at all acceptable so I bought gear lube oriented permatex this time. Hopefully that takes care of that leak area.

Shifter wise I don't like the idea of a lokar shifter and I'm not a big fan of the gate setup on the winters shifter. I'm probably going to end up buying a winters shifter and making my own gate for it. I like the idea of being able to pull right or left and go all the way from 1st to R but the way the gates come doesn't really allow this without cutting tabs off and moving them. I can't be the only one looking for that option. I really need to just junk yard it for a impala SS shifter with the performance shift button, then mod that gate to let me move from 1st to R in a hurry if needed. I used my clutch in those situations pretty much everytime I was out so I'm paranoid of not being able to get where I need to be in a hurry. I think I'm just paranoid.

-LS plates from offroad anonymous
-Bulkhead fitting for fuel cell(going to be some custom lathe work that needs to be done so I have to get to the fuel cell sooner than later)
-Fuel line and an fittings for supply side.
-Shifter undecided yet
-Harness(I have everything, just need to actually do the work)
-HPtuner credits and set up the file...........1 hr since it's all stock still.
-Manifolds(have 2 sets of truck, trying to grab some ls3 manifolds as well since I don't know how it's going to lay in yet.

Hope to have an actual update after this weekend.

Based on my experience, the truck manifolds dump too far back and interfere with the bottom of the firewall....depends how far back you push the motor too. Have you seen the rock crawler gates for the winters shifter? I seem to remember somebody already taking care of that issue and selling them for a decent price. But I've also been drinking for 4 hours so maybe I'm imagining things.

For permatex, I only use "ultra grey". I don't use anything else.

Update:
I moved furniture for my wife's grandfather who is upgrading from a nursing home to an independent living center friday, saturday and sunday morning. Going through his basement was like going back in time and I'm happy to be able to help. His US paratrooper suitcase is still in the same shape now as it was when he got back in 1946, snoopy cartoon on the side and all.
