Exclamation URGENT!!!! 05 auto tranny pan. FOUND PENDING

Needed 05 tj 42rle pan

I took it off today to clean and re-gasket it and found it had rusted along the seal lip......

The rust issue is pretty common. They do offer a deeper pan from mopar, and at least one other supplier.
one with a drain plug is handy too. Heat is an issue for the 42rle. A deeper pan, and a cooler, would be a great upgrade while your in there. The deeper pan will hurt u later when u do the flat belly though.

I searched for a deeper pan only found one for the 900tf's...I look again. thxs

As far as flat belly I am more thinking of a shallower pan like by an 1 1/2" maybe 1" and do a engine mount 1" raise. Time will tell. thxs for the info :P

Update. I'll be going to the dealer tomorrow for the deeper mopar pan thxs all I'll update this thread plus add a jeep tech one.

i think after the new pan u should make a trans pan skid for it lol
