Red face D60 Kingpin Caliper Bracket/s

I need a drivers side caliper bracket Dana 60 king pin (for a late 70's f250 if that mattters). While researching online, I see ones with 6 bolt holes and ones with 5, not sure of the difference but I need the one with 5 bolts like below.

5 bolt is what Ford used, 6 bolt was on Chevy and Dodge kingpin 60s

FWIW I prefer the '86 - '93? style better. The late 70's vintage seem to spread apart and the caliper gets loose in the bracket which can lead to the little spring plate popping out. I've seen if happen on the trail and I've seen several axles that have had cobbled brackets that look like they're trying to fix the issue come through my shop.

You'll need to change to the later style calipers at the same time so it's not a direct swap.

I am aware of the spreading issue, then chucking your calipers out onto the trail lol, unfortunatly I don't want to switch calipers and all of that at this time. I guess I will just wait until it happens to me. I also have an extended key kit for my calipers, appears to be working well, but my jeep isn't moving yet

Napa sells a kit that spaces the caliper up, so even if the channel gap spreads slightly, it will not allow the caliper to fall out.

The spacer from napa is $9.32

I had my drivers side wedge pop out and it got stuck between caliper and rim and punctured rim. I took bracket to local machine shop and they built it up with weld and machined it down. The caliper fits very nice now.

I am pretty sure that the same year F250 HP Dana 44HD's use the same brackets. I have 1 or 2 of them, that I'm not using. I'll try to head out to the barn and look tonight. I drive right past Z. Electric every morning...

Waiting on Tom's reply. If it's a drivers side, I'll snag them. Johnny messaged me, and I'll take his if Tom doesn't pan out.

thanks guys. Hopefully Leanz' jeep will be complete by the end of June

I'm am running a dana 44 bracket on my d60 but I had to have the center milled out bigger for the axle to go through.

So happy with the responses! I figured I would be stuck buying some junk off of ebay and paying $20 shipping.
