Default PCM tune 4.8 to 6.0 swap

Im putting a 6.0 in my 2002 Silverado. I know my original 4.8 computer wont work the greatest. I wad thinking of going with a black bear performance tune but was wondering if anyone here does tuning or knows of something better!! It would have to be a tune for a 2005 LQ9 bolted to a 4L60E.

I can do a stock tune/segment swap on the trans with EFILive, or copy my jeep's tune over to your setup. I've really only messed with transmission variables and such, the engine side was already tuned and I liked the way it ran so i left it alone. I haven't done a complete tune yet myself, however i have a few saved 6.0 tunes for an lq4 4l65e combo. LQ4 to LQ9 engine parameters shouldn't be too big of a difference, i'll check around. I'm gonna start learning the engine side of things this week if I get my wideband in.

Cool man ehat do you charge for something like that? And doesnt a 4L60E need a different tune than a 4L65E?

No, the actual trans segments (trans programming) are the same. The 60 and 65 are the same trans, with the exception of the 65 having 5 pinion planets.

Is the LQ9 stock internally?

Yes its all stock. The guy I got it from was a heavy duty tech at Gooley caddillac in st claire shores and he was pretty sure the 60e and 80e trans had different tunes.

Yes, 60e and 80e are completely different. The 60-65 trans tunes are very similar, i'll pull up tunes with both and compare them. Either way, I change quite a few things in there to keep the trans alive, and make it shift like it should.

I can probably set you up with something around $180. I'm not too far away either.
