Default 1995 powerstroke

i am having issues with power and it has a lot of black smoke at idle. when i accelerate it goin to white or blue smoke... someties after a couple minutes of idle it dies... i was thinking injector stuck open. but i am clueless with power strokes... anyone want to comeby and look at it i have beer... just dont want to be a glorified parts changer... or any input on here is appretiated


or if you have a good running 7.3 you want to sell ... or if you want to buy my truck let me know...

i have a video of it running i dont know if i can post it.

Do you have access to a scan tool? It sounds like it could be an injector or injector o-ring failure causing engine oil pressure to drop that feed the injectors. You need to scan it for codes along with a cylinder contribution test to check the injectors operation. You can also do a Key On Engine Off Injector buzz test. The engine must produce a certain psi of high pressure engine oil to fire the injectors and run properly. I would start with that.
