Default Need help shortening bumps DELETE

Wondering if anyone locally can do this because my fox 2.0-4" travel bumps are going to contact the pads way too early and the best thing would be to shorten it up to 2-3" travel with a piece of 1.5" dom and make sure they cycle correctly with the shocks at full bump. Im hesitant to release the pressure and pull them apart. Here's a pic of at ride height which has decreased even more since I put new bushings in

There's not much to them. Buy a spanner wrench and some oil and do a little research. There are probably a dozen writeups and/or videos online on how to do it, otherwise you can learn yourself in no time.
