Default 2016 Republican Ticket

There has been a whole lot of talk gearing up for the 2016 Presidential Elections. Looks like they're kicking things off early.

I'm also seeing a lot of VERY disturbing things coming out of the Republican party... Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Mitt Romney (again...)... If these are the official front runners from the GOP we are really fucked.

Cause Canada is so much better.

A Rand Paul and Ted Cruz ticket is their only hope and they're still grooming RINOs to run against Billary. It's absolutely insane.

Said it before, and I'll say it again- a charismatic 3rd party candidate could make a serious run for the White House in this political climate. More and more people are growing distrustful of the 2 major parties.

This is where a young Ross Perot would do well.

Jeb ~ Too many people will tie him to his brother and blame him for the recession.
Chris ~ As stupid as it is, the bridge closing will ruin him and show him to be vindictive.
Mitt ~ I still think he would be a good president but he won't win.
Rand ~ I like him but he is too far right wing to win.
Marko ~ Same as Rand but he has the Hispanic vote.
Ted ~ Not a chance.

3rd Party ~ the problem here is whichever party they are closest to will lose because it splits similar minded votes and makes the other party more consolidated.

I don't care for him but the more I see of Rand Paul the more I like his chances for winning the nomination in 2016 (I don't think there is a chance in hell that he would run with Cruz though, as he doesn't seem to hide his dislike for him). Paul seems to be doing a good job at distancing himself from a lot of his "wackier" viewpoints and is willing to make in roads with the moderates and the left by being open to compromise on positions that they agree with each other with, while still retaining some of his Libertarian qualities.

Personally, I keep hoping that Huntsman was using the 2012 cycle as a lesson on how to set up a campaign and just get his name out there and that he'll give it a serious effort in 2016.

I agree...sad to say but Republicans are screwed this term. I think Rand would be a great president but I think to many people will not be able to look past his right wing stance.

My biggest fear is that there will not be a 2020 Presidential Election.

I bet he'll have a band that will play in the sand. Hopefully they're good or they may get canned.

Andrew Napolitano is my never-gonna-happen pick........ So basically I've been reduced to the anyone but Hillary category.

Actually to edit the above; I had(and still do have) my vote ready for Herman Cain; until the media and those that were going to lose to him torpedo'd him over some skank he poked 30 years ago

It's going to take a very strong candidate to knock down Hillary. Not that she's got anything worthwhile to bring to the table, but there's a large amount of people who will vote for a woman now that the 'white male' lock on the presidency has been broken. I know for a fact that my mother will vote for her, she is one of the 'world would be a better place if women ran things' types.

Looks like I will be voting 'ABC' as well.

Chris christy is a fukc stain I wish would just was itself away. I love the fact he closed that bridge and got caught. Hopefully his current and future career goals are ruined and he ends up in the poor house
