Still staying steady with my eating habits, I can't see myself ever going back to junk food. I also seemed to have developed some type of lactose intolerance since my diet change, being that I rarely ever eat cheese/milk any more. When I do now I feel absolutely terrible, bad stomach aches.

I'm also excited that cycling/running season is here and that will help me reach my goal. I picked up a '13 Specialized Crux cross bike a while back that I put 10 miles on last weekend, and I can tell that i'm really going to enjoy riding this year. Can't wait for some 30+ mile rides this year, it's much easier without a huge gut hanging down

Congrats on the weight loss. The Beat the Train rides begin next month is you want a group 30 mile ride through Detroit.

started at 264, down to 245. Down 19, although between my first and last weigh in I realized my scale was at -3 pounds and fixed it, so I think have actually lost 22ish pounds.

A few days when I have been busy I have ate less than 1200 calories, and My fitness pal yells at me about going into starvation mode, is that really true? Is eating less than 1200 calories once every few weeks going to make me gain wait?

No, but it should be avoided.

My PT will be ending soon. I'm now going to have some financial help, other than my mom. This should reduce some of my stress. So I'm thinking of joining a local gym. 25$ a month. I talked to my PT and it would just be the same type of exercise.

It works, I've been doing Insanity and I thought I was going to die the first day (and I do mostly field work hauling gear around). A month in and I'm way leaner and a fukcload stronger. In two more weeks none of my pants will fit they are already falling off my ass. It's hard as hell but I enjoy that.

Awesome!! I was thinking about doing insanity or p90x. Glad it's working out for you. I just may have to give it a shot. Problem is i don't think i really have the room to be moving around like you have to lol

seriously, you need to change your outlook, every post you've made in this thread has an excuse as to why you can't do the things you want to do to lose weight.

Quit making excuses and either do it, or stop posting in this thread.

I love bdubs, it is by far my favorite food, but the fact that I have to basically starve myself to be able to keep me under 1800 calories for the day so i can enjoy some wings, makes it much easier to not eat that shit, or any other shit food in general.

What do you do when someone is actively sabotaging your efforts?

I admit- I like to eat. It takes a lot of willpower- wait, no- not so much willpower as keeping myself busy, to keep from over eating. While I am on the road I can eat whatever the healthiest selection on the menu is, and walk away when I feel full.

When my wife is around, it's either a constant "Aren't you hungry" or she'll just start handing me muffins or cookies hot out of the oven.

I lost 15lbs while she was working hospice and not coming home, now she's back and I gained 10lbs back.

It's like offering an alcoholic a beer.

Seriously, enough with the excuses.

Yesterday I rode 10+ miles on my lunch break on my road bike. That took about 40-45 minutes. At 5:00 I went and cut a pile of fire wood and loaded it on my trailer, brought it home and unloaded it. Cooked dinner with my wife. Went for a 45 minute walk with my wife.

It's called finding/making the time. Get up early, skip a tv show, do it during lunch, stop surfing gl4x4 and facebook, put the cell phone away and stop texting your buddies pictures of your penis.

You're unwilling to find the time. You're unwilling to make the changes. Making excuses is stupid. Stop making excuses. Either admit you aren't willing to put in the work, and stay the way you are, or start doing. Either way, stop talking.

You've turned this into a Skooterbuilt build thread about weight loss.
