What heads are you looking at using?
Sounds good. I am going to be running vortec heads.

I have been talking to a buddy who races this class and is moving up classes next year. He has been giving me a hand on getting started since I won't be ready to kick his ass until next year. He just gave me the number of a guy who has been building his engines for the last 20 years. People keep saying "this guy is expensive" or "that guy charges a lot". I will be honest, if I wanted to save money on an engine build I would do it myself. I want to be competitive, reliable and I want to win so I will have no problem dumping money on a well built engine. The rest I can build, fab and design myself.

Diamond performance in East Jordan does good work as well, they should be able to help you out.

Thanks. I have been talking to my buddy and I may be buying his truck which is all set up with all the bugs worked out of it. He is moving up a class next year and will be building a completely new truck. His comes with a spare of everything. Will be way cheaper then building one from scratch.
