Default 2014 trail permits and licenses. Where the "extra" money is supposed to go.

How the DNR says it will spent what we are paying.

Don't let them stray from what's written here.
They're promising 300 more miles of designated Orv trails, and creating a southern Michigan ORV area closer to local population centers.

They aren't going to "roar to the top" as it days. WV and KY have them beat by a lot in many ways. That and the ORV "trails" suck. The routes are fun, but for unknown reasons, they block off most of the trails used by snowmobiles that cold be routes. That and stupid shit like not being able to park in the voucher center parking lot and ride the side of the road to the entrance. Stupid.

Still good to hear they are the planning to improve.

I will take any improvement they offer and be happy with it, but will forever crave and seek more.

Have you taken the time to write the director of the DNR (Keith Creagh) to express your feelings about the route closures or how much you think our trail system sucks?
Or ...even to thank him for the small improvements and ask for more?

GLFWDA has many volunteer opportunities where your thoughts and as lillte as an hour (or less) a week of your effort can help us make a difference.

This stuff doesn't change over night and certainly won't change if we lay down and let them stick it to us.
