The S&Ws are pretty good for the money. I'd much rather have one of them than a carbon 15. Just so you know, most Bushmasters aren't corbon/plastic, just the carbon 15 is. That is their newest entry level gun. The stags are also good for the money. If I were looking for an entry level carbine, I don't know what I'd do, there are a ton of good options.

Rifle vs carbine is berrel and gas system length. A traditional M-16 style rifle will have a 20" barrel and a rifle lengtg gas system. A carbine is more styled off of an M4 and most often has a 16" barrel and carbine length gas system.

All assembled. The lower I purchased is also a palmetto.

Rifle kit came missing one small pin. Thankfully my buddy helping me had a spare kit. So I'll have to email palmetto tomorrow and see about a replacement.

So what's some good sites to buy parts/afdons from? I've been using palmetto state armory. Their shipping time blows.

Amazon? They have a quad rail with a bi-pod for $40. A friend has it and it seems pretty nice.

Got my soft case, more pmags and the new grip.

Bag is pretty nice. And the fact it came with 6 30 rd pmags I feel that was a nice deal at $99.

The mft classic g27 grip leaves a lot to be desired. Didnt fit initially, I had massage the polymer to get it to slide on, and the back of it hits on the sling mount, had to shave a little there to. Think I'll be in the market for something better.

Still waiting on more ammo I ordered though. Palmetto shipping time kinda sucks.
