I work outside everyday, allday. What works the best for me is a pair of yellow rubber boots that slip over my regular leather work boots and cuff of my jeans. Put a small plastic bag over your leather boot so the rubber one is easily removed. My feet never get wet or cold, and they can be kicked off if you need to go inside. Cheap and available at tsc.

I got the chore steel toe. These are my new favorite boots, they are like steel toe slippers.

I have had these for a while now. Some of the best boots I have owned. Slip on over regular shoes so if you need to go inside or something they come off fast and you can slip them right back on. I have the stabilicers due to walking around on an icy parking lot quite often.

I have never had muck boots, but find myself wanting some this winter. I use insulated work boots and they are great down to about 20 degrees.

I just carry them in my truck now. I do construction on the side so all of my leather work boots have holes in the bottom from nails and all sorts of slices in the leather. As soon as they get wet all bets are off. It's so nice to walk through knee high snow and give zero fucks.

Me too. Different one for different temps and uses.

And I cut the loops off the back of mine right off the bat.

If you want a good boot for winter/wet comfort you need to talk to livestock farmers. Around here they all wear these:
