Anybody have experience with Mossbergs 930 line....liking the looks of that one and it already has most of the features i think i want. About the only thing i could see adding is a pistol grip stock and maybe a flashlight

I got a boner just looking at the pictures/product description on Benelli's sight... i am fairly certain that if i actually owned/shot one i would need to seek immediate medical attention for an erection lasting longer than 4 hours lol

The only BS about them is with some stupid semi-auto imported shotgun law, it can only be limited to 5 round mag capacity, hence the dumb looking machined part at the end of the mag tube.

I put a full length one piece tube on, which requires heating up the receiver with a heat gun to break the loc-tite loose.

930s have a pretty good reputation. In general mossbergs get a bad rap but I think they did something right with the 930

Mavericks get a bad rap... The "Mexican Mossberg"

Mossberg shotguns, in general, are excellent.

They are catching a lot of flak for their rifles though. Not a lot of good things being said about them.

I guess I should have been more specific. The old Mossberg autos have a bad rap. Their pump guns, while ugly as sin, functionally have a great track record. I think their new autos are pretty good, but I'd buy a used "B" gun before I bought a new 930/935

I think FlatFender has a 930, he could give you a better opinion. I don't own one though I have handled a few. My 2 autos are a winchester super x2 and a Remington 1100

I have a 930 HD and a JMPro. They're great game guns, but not super robust. For something to trust with my life, I think I'd step up to a Versamax or a Benelli M2/M4... or an AR -15.

I'm going to keep my 3.3" as well. It's a fantastic little pistol, apparently I got lucky that mine came back from the recall with a decent trigger still, I've heard horror stories from some others about their triggers.
