you could always make it longer, but after a while It will probably get old because you'll feel like you're driving a boat.

You could make brackets to lower the links too?

Jeep is going away in the spring and this works. No need to perfect it more on this one.

I understand how easily that could happen while out plowing, backing up, snowy, snow all over your shit, salters, etc.

However, my only question is this:

How fast were you going?

On the plus side, there will not be any snow or ice on that 3' diameter spot for like 4 years.

and from the looks of it, had quite a bit of speed on it...

But holy shit, I always wondered what that looked like. Plus I bet it really impresses the customer.

with that said, I would just flatbed if you buy back.

the pole rearended me going a good 15-20 second time i have ever hit anything in 15years of plowing, other was also this year, but just bumped a tree, enought that i had just replaced that bumper . guess im losing my touch. Too much stress and cant focus.

worst part is i was finished with my route and felt like being nice and helping my dad finish this lot. customer was just glad no one was hurt, and its not a big deal. Thank god for good insurance. that 2ft cement base is fucked.

still need to find buyback price, right now they are offering me 12k which i am not arguing with lol. plan would be to flatbed this and get the rails straightened out back, sell my 1500 and have a good 15k to put towards another 2500.

really sucks, that bed was as rust free as they get and it is wasted

My insurance valued my Duramax at about $11k (because of previous damage), my buy back was $1700. I bought it back and sold it.

I think my price is including the salt speader, still cant get ahold of the lady to find out what it was based on and what buyback is. But thats good to hear, I was hoping for it to be 2k or less. I have newer tires a fresh trans and 2y/o tcase and rust free cab so well worth 2k to me.

found out buyback is only 1400$, so no brainer there but they had 4200 in there for my plow, but didnt have the spreader, so should be getting 8500$ and keep the truck. works for me!
