Default Anybody have experiance with mlb.tv?

Anybody have experience with mlb.tv? I just bought a new home that is in a Comcast service area exclusively. The house has an existing OTA antenna on the roof that pulls in the four major networks with ridiculously good picture quality. I'd like to subscribe to Comcast internet only (there 50down/10up plan) and avoid paying for Comcast cable TV. The flaw in the slaw with my plan is I can NOT live without watching the Tigers games...All of 'em.

So I started looking into streaming mlb.tv through my ps3 for $120 for the whole season. Well, In doing some research, I've come across a decent amount of negative feedback in terms of picture quality and buffering even with a healthy internet connection. So I'm interested in hearing your experiences with mlb.tv.

What did you think of the picture quality of the stream vs watching in HD via Fox Sports Detroit through Xfinity or FIOS or the alike?

Did you have issues with buffering?

Who is your ISP and what plan/modem/router do you use and what device did you stream it to your tv with?

Did you stream it via wifi or ethernet?

I loath Comcast and hate to give them any more $$$ then necessary but if mlb.tv is not up to snuff I'll have to bite the bullet and order a package with FSD included. I'm FAR from a tech guy in this area but I've done enough research to hopefully carry a conversation. Any help is appreciated.
