I'm been thinking of using this guy on MGO:
NFA trust info
. His fee is $400 or 350 if a paid mgo member. I wasn't sure if the price was in line or not with other lawyers to set up a NFA trust, and found in many states some will charge $500-1000!! The $350-400 price seems to be on the lower end of what I found.

EDIT: For another random firearm thought, I am going to give some shooting sports a try this year. I've signed up for an intro to IDPA class and plan to try a local match or two. I am really thinking doing 3 gun would be bad ass as well. I just need to buy a semi-auto shotgun and maybe a few component changes to my AR (i.e. 1-4x optic, better trigger, and a muzzle compensator).

Do it. Let me know if you have any questions, it's a lot of fun.

Every day I come home from work I have a mental battle to not put a 9mm defense round through the center of this.

Looks cool huh? I thought I wanted a Kel Tec KSG, but after reading all the horrible reviews and seeing that they go for 2-3x suggested retail, I think I'll stick with the proven 870. Mount a light, get those shorter buckshot loads for home defense, kick ass. I bet you could get 10 of those shorter shells in there. The only thing that worries me about it is the fact that my face is inches from the chamber, I shoot rifles and shotguns left handed. Not sure how often an 870 has a chamber blow though.

If you shoot shotguns left handed... You do realize that every ejected round is coming for the side of your head with that kit right?

Gonna have to wait a long time for that. ATF sent Sig back to the drawing board on it due to "suppressor parts" being on it. They will be incorporating a non-removable carbon fiber shroud to the entire assembly now... like a big fake suppressor on it that you can't take off.

The Tavor is right back at the top of the line. Their 9MM conversion kit is da w00t.

Just making sure. Some people don't think that far ahead.

I am a broken man now.

Let me buy a 2x8 stick of lumber and slap a barrel on the end. Not feeling it.
