Friends don't let friends buy anything Taurus EVER! Some people have good luck with them, but if you don't warranty service sucks and you are screwed.

I need a bigger gun safe. And, sometime this year I think it is time to get some NFA items. I plan to set up a trust and then start with a .22lr suppressor first. Hopefully MI gets in line with the rest of the free U.S. and passes the SBR/SBS legislation and then a AR15 SBR would be on that list with multiple uppers: 5.56, .22lr, and maybe 300 blackout.

I have never had an issue with my taurus snubbie 357, the semi auto i had on the other hand was a pos. From what i have read revolvers are good, semi-auto are junk. But my next revolver will probably be a smith & wesson 686p

I'd probably buy a s&w governor, other than that I'm not a huge fan of revolvers.

Its not too bad lots of waiting .

1. Pick one out
2. Pay for it
3. Fill out paper work
4. Take it to Sheriffs dept for finger prints and sign off
5. Make your two hundred dollar check out to the ATF
6. Drop paper work off to place of purchase
7. Wait :-(
8. make lots of ammo to shoot

6-8 months from what I'm hearing. I'm trying to do a trust done right now. They are reporting three months with e-file . Plus there are so many other advantages to this way.

Lots of . I was in court for a land case and a divorced couple was arguing over who was going to pay for a kids band camp fees. I asked our lawyer if I could pay it ? It cost me 250 dollars to listen to them fight over a hundred.

What amazes me is when she has a client that will not listen to her when she try's to tell them it's not about winning, that its about the kids or finding a common ground. They will fight with her. Fucking stubborn people. You pay a lawyer then you pay more for a lawyer when you want to fight with a lawyer.

Some CLEO's won't sign off on the forms because of their "beliefs" so the sure fire way is to do a trust. The previously mentioned quicker turn around times for E-file with a trust is just a bonus. Plus, you can put multiple people on the trust so they can use and be in possession of your NFA items, and trusts can last after you die.
