It was pretty bad ass. I wish I knew what I was doing, but the guys who owned the rifles set us up, told me where to hold, and the rifles did the rest. We were shooting a handful of custom .260rem rifles, and a .338 Allen magnum, which makes a lapua look like a .223.

I have power, I need somewhere to use it. My 225 yard range in the backyard isn't quite enough.

I miss my .50BMG.

I'm thinking something that's an absolute HAMMER within 300 yards for now. Preferably semi-auto. Maybe .458 SOCOM, .50 Beowulf or possibly a 45-70.

I was so close to picking up a 50bmg this year but I came to my senses. I don't have the range to shoot what I got, why do I need something bigger and more expensive to shoot? I'm planning on renting a dozer this year so that I can extent my range to 325. I just have to take a little hill down.

That's easy with a dozer.

EasyE, FlatFender or Honcho (or anyone else)... anyone got a line on a .450, .458 or .50 Beowulf upper?

I've got a few extra S&W Shield safeties sitting here to build an extended safety. Still not sure how I want to go about it.
