Now i'm really just trying to tone and build muscle in places to push the rest of the fat out of hiding. I still have a spare tire (albeit more of a mostly deflated tube) around my middle that I think i can make go away.
In November, I started at 325. Yesterday, I weighed in at 289. There was a little up and down during the holidays but definitely headed in the right direction.

The My Fitness Pal app is great for the OCD fatties.

Weighed in at 203 yesterday, down from 210 on Jan. 26th and 228 on thanksgiving. Results are slowing as I get thinner, but I'm excited to get below 200, I haven't been for over 5 years. My diet change has become a habit, and I don't crave junk food or fast food anymore. However, sometimes I want anything but the usual food at home so I'll go get sushi, not bad for you and tastes great.

I was 223 right after surgery. I've started lifting and running more and more often, and I've gained five lbs. Figures.

Nothing major to report. Weighed 250lbs this morning. Starting weight was 300lbs.

Still want to lose another 50lbs by the end of July, I can start working out again every day in a few weeks when school is over!

If you're using MyFitnessPal, post up your username. We can all berate each other for eating like crap.

I'm down 10 from last wednesday. (311# in work wardrobe, note 6# shoes )

I hope to break the 300# mark no shoes by monday... and maybe the 300# mark with shoes on that wednesday... maybe the end of the week. I expect it to start to plateau after that. Now to see if my wife's rewards for weight lost are still valid

work competitions motivate me more. They started one, 6 week challenge, but I am carrying my team thus far. group total of 13 pounds lost with me being 10 of those

Well, I decided to give a go at this not being fat shit. im at 260 now, no real goal, basically just get to the point where being active(hunting, disc golfing etc) isn't a chore. I bought a treadmill today, hope I have the willpower to use it daily.

I've only been using it about a week and it's a real eye-opener as far as what you are consuming. At the end of the day, it even gives you a breakdown of your nutrition for the day.

It's pretty good, check it out.

Signed,

Wide body getting thinner.
This is what I have been using for a few days, and like you said its a real eye opener, realizing I was downing well over 3k calories a day.

It's crazy how many calories I was consuming before I was counting too. I am now really good at counting even when I am not using an app. I still use my app though because I like to know for sure (sometimes things will surprise you especially at restaurants).
Keep up the good work everyone. Once you make the lifestyle change it becomes a habit and really doesn't feel like a diet or "exercise" plan anymore, it's just what you do. I will say it's a marathon though and not a sprint.

That's a very accurate point! Once it's a habit it becomes normal and is much easier to stick to. Definitely takes time to develop those habits though, hence the marathon.

I just read through this entire thread, and it is damn inspiring, and makes me realize getting back under 180 isn't all that crazy. I am double my High school weight, and the same height so 180 should be attainable since i was 130 at the same height.

Nice work!

I've been consistently under 200 lbs for a few months now, and starting to trim the baby/beer fat off finally. 34s are getting too big, my go-to belt is loose on it's last notch, and large shirts are baggy, whereas a year ago 36s were snug and my stomach showed in those same shirts. . I wish I had a scale at home, but very happy with visual progress, and i can tell I'm significantly stronger and healthier than before.

My blood pressure finally came into check when incorporating fish oil with my blood pressure meds. My eventual goal is to get off the damn pills, but genetics may say otherwise.

I still want to get into a regular workout routine, but i'm traveling a lot for work and taking care of animals at home has me regularly moving.
