Default estate sale in royal oak

not sure where to put this, so i guess it'll go here.

my buddy's grandfather passed away recently (gma a while back) and him/his mom are having an estate sale before they sell the house. think they had all the items tagged by an appraiser but i'm sure he's flexible. they need everything to go.

he mentioned that there are a decent amount of tools and other things, if anyone is interested in checking it out. i will ask him about items that may be of greater interest to gl4x4 members and update this post in a day or two.

his CL post with all details - http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/gms/4298360384.html

tell your buddy to post a few pics in his add, not going to get many people to come out in this cold with no idea what type of stuff they have.

just random pics around the house would give some idea

I am the buddy of his doing the sale. Like he said, 95% of the pricing was done by a friend who does nothing but estate sales. However, like anything, everything is negotiable.

I added a video to the CL posting instead of pictures as there is just too much stuff to take pictures of. You would be surprised how many people are coming due to it being a lifetime owner, regardless of the cold. Been getting calls all day long about people coming wondering if they need to take a number to get in line. Quite frankly I hope we do get THAT many. Everything has to go after all.

Found a gun but I am thinking of keeping it unless someone REALLY wants it. It is a Savage Arms Model 1907 Service Pistol. It's .32 ACP and made in the 1910's. Absolutely great condition. It was wrapped in a towel behind some dishes.

Keep it.

You'll never be able to replace it.

Kinda what I am thinking... very unique piece to come across the way I did with it.

Small bump....

Tomorrow (last day of sale) we will be marking down all the prices to about half off on just about everything in the house. Can't stress enough that everything has to go. One way or another.

Also, not sure if anyone on this site has come to have a look so far, but I will be there tomorrow during the sale to open the garage where all the tools are at. Yesterday and today they have been locked up in there since we haven't gone through everything in there yet.
