$50 every two weeks adds up pretty quickly - especially if it's an early spring/late fall type of year.

My dad could spend an entire day cutting our 1.5 acre yard, it use to get him out of a lot of dumb shit my mom would want him to do. That's why I think I will buy a rider and cut my own.

Just not sure if i want to get a plow for my 4 wheeler or a blower for the rider.

I have a blower and a blade for my tractor, and a walk behind blower. The blade gets used FAR more then any of the blowers do.

I only break out the blower if we get a large amount of snow. The blade is way faster.

Yeah I could always wait and buy a blower down the road. I also currently have a walk behind. I really need a plow for my place up north and for the new house. I don't wanna truck a plow back and fourth.

You can get 2 blades for the cost of a blower attachment. Or a blade for the new tractor, and a old used tractor and blade for up north.

When I used to sell them 8 years ago a blade was around $200-300 and a blower was $1000-1300 and those were cheap models for MTD's

That's good to know. I probably will have a total of 3k to work with to buy everything.

I know that sub well. some 20 years ago I was involved with someone that lived on Rachelle, and she liked to take walks across the street. She wanted us to live in a duplicate of the semi-custom cape cod that's at the end of Merrit Drive off of Golden.

Life for me would have been quite a lot different if it had 'worked out' and I had gone down that path (not in a good way mind you)

Congrats on the closing!

If you already have a Polaris Ranger, I'd look at a plow for it, and a smaller zero turn mower. I use a 48" Husqvarna zero turn quite often for a friend of mine, and it is pretty nice for it's size and price range.

you cant drive a zero turn and drink a beer. Just sayin.. I have a 46" old school Montgomery ward tractor to mow the 2-2.5 acres I keep mowed. It takes me about 2-3hrs between moving trailers and rigs and wacking the ditch and what not. Its my solitude. Need to find a good deal on a 3pt finish mower for my big tractor. So I can utilize more of my 10 acres. besides the pond and wheeling areas. Oh and Congrats on the house man. Sounds like an upgrade
