Kyle m. and General pointed that out to me recently. When I built my buggy I bought alot of my parts from them directly. Granted I bought majority of my stuff during thanksgiving, black friday, christmas, and new years sales so I got decent deals. But overall I still could of saved more.

Both my truss's, almost all my link tabs, battery box, fuel cell mount are all artec.

I can't say that about other venders (such as Ruff Stuff) who people seem to swear by.
You sound like ever person in that thread who ended up getting fucked by them RIGHT BEFORE getting fucked by them! They were all happy and shit then a month later joining the thread with "they charged my card six months ago and I never got my stuff and they will no longer take a call or answer an email, what do I do?!" Oh and they fucked me and another friend of mine too so there's two more.

I've only gotten a few things from ruff stuff but they actually have a good reputation.

From a business standpoint I only had a minor problem with Ballistic. But their joints simply suck. When I needed to rebuild their sucky joints for the first time, I discovered they had the plastic pieces with cavities in them. When I called to order new solid ones and complain, they said "those are only for road use, we didn't know you were going to use them off road." DUH Who puts a shitty rebuildable joint that needs to be greased all the time on a street only vehicle? I guess it was my bad.

It came across as an excuse.

I went through exactly what those people went through with ballistic with rough stuff. Was strung along for multiple weeks waiting for parts getting the old "they will ship this day" only to have that day come and go with no parts being shipped. Dan did make it right in the end but it doesn't change the fact it happened.

I am not defending Ballistic in anyway....the OP asked about parts and i was simply sharing that i have used them with good results

Fair enough. The OP asked for opinions and he's getting them.
