If all goes well and Danimal & I get there as planned on Thursday...... We got our run filled up early and out around 9:45-10:00 last year. Usually several runs of varying length leave throughout the day on Friday and get back by 5:00 for cleanup, the GLFWDA Quarterly meeting and eats. IIRC we ended up out on the trail almost the entire day and got back just before the meeting.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the GLFWDA quarterly!!!

Then after the meeting the Friday night runs head out.

I plan on leaving at 6am stopping for a quick breakfast on the way up. We did this last year and got to the hotel about 9:30 that gave us plenty of time to check in unload the rigs and make a 10:30 run. You are more then welcome to meet up with us and follow us up. I'm just west of Allendale.

Probably early Friday in time for a short run in the afternoon. Thinking of staying away from RenegadeII's area......... we don't want to get sucked into having to help them out .... AGAIN.

Please remember as trail guides we have to have your signed registration with the trail leader or sweep at all times. Your sarcasm is not lost on me but for those that do not know register first

Again? Ha! The only thing you've ever helped my group with was having hot cider and a warming fire ready for us at our lunch stop. And thank you for that by the way, I bet you make a good house Frau

Speaking of fire and cider, anyone doing this at the rocks this year? I'll volunteer if not, seeing I don't have a rig, I might as well be useful.

That was a year that Jim and I did not have a run so Jim had the idea to volunteer to offer a warming fire. Jim brought all kinds of beverages and I brought a dually full of wood and we were there all day on our own. It would be pretty tough to do it without planning.....and wood.

Riding Dirty had talked about doing it this year.

The main reason it worked so well when Jim and Tab did it was the rocks were brand new. We planned for every group to make it's way to the rocks at some point through the day to give everyone an opportunity to see the area. It was kind of a one time thing and I think only a couple of groups make it over there.

I think all but one group made it that year. It was a lot of fun.

Well I have a shitload of dried ash split and stacked in the shed. Just say the word.

Otherwise me and my passenger will be looking for some open seats on the trail.

Yup, the fire was one of my favorite parts of the runs over the past SnoFari years. Our run does lunch there too as it's a nice spot out of the wind and has room enough for lots of vehicles.

We are leaving home early Friday, hoping to have breakfast at the Lumberjack before hitting the trails. I need me some flapjacks!

I liked the fire and cider at the rocks stop a couple of years back...although I think I clipped a tree that year on a freshly snowed on trail through the MSA and mangled a bumper. Actually I think a couple in my group hit the same tree. (hint - don't follow me through the MSA)
