Mine:

I have a gravel driveway. The plow works better 90% of the time, is way faster and more fun, but the snowblower is the way to go for the deep stuff we got yesterday....too bad I let my dad borrow it

Mine's not quite as nice looking as this one, but it gets the job done. Picked it up at a garage sale 6 years ago for $20, a good carb cleaning and its been going strong ever since. 3hp, 20" path, had no issues going through the 10" of snow we got this weekend.

Spent all day in this plowing then brought it home to do my own driveway and take my son for a ride. 19 months old and absolutely loved it.

I personally just use a shovel, but I have had a bit of snowblower jealousy the last few weeks. It is good exercise, but going out 2 or 3 times a day like on Sunday is a real bitch.

What I canít believe, is that there arenít any kids in our neighborhood shoveling for money, I would probably pay them every time! Öand to boot, the HS has been off for 2.5 weeks. Donít these kids want to make some $$$ the old fashioned way?

Oh well, I just need to stick it out for another few years, then my small army of kids will be able to do it

kids dont work anymore, just look at the great customer service you get when shopping or eating out anywhere

my wife had to take a mamagement class just to learn how to deal with kids needing to be praised for coming in to work on time.... its getting ridicolous how lazy we are becoming

I cant wait till the mini me army is ready to work, no more snow shoveling for me

In the fall, about once a week some kids from the neighborhood will stop by with rakes and bags asking to rake up my yard for some $$$. I have yet to have any kids stop by and offer to shovel my driveway. Most of us all have circular drives though so I cannot really blame them for avoiding that. I only shovel the entire thing because my OCD will not let me only do the portion to the garage.

I am sort of surprised that some enterprising kid doesn't start walking down the street with his dad's snowblower offering to clear the neighbor's driveways with that.

My dad would never let me use the power equipment until I could prove I could do it by hand. IE Must push mow our full acre yard before I could use the rider to make money. I could however mow our own yard with the rider.

I mowed yards for money with the people's own equipment instead

What sucked is my dad always had at least 3 running riders in the barn. My favorite was the "Stallion" I think it was made by Dynamark, it would pull some mad wheelies.
