I have been eating activia yogurt and fiber bars.
Before my other surgery I was tested and showed signs of acid reflux. I don't drink coffee but I do drink Starbucks frappes and they seem to act as a laxative.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

The yogurt is great but I think the fiber bars can do the opposite. As for acid reflux, caffine seems to really kick in the acid. Decafe seems to help.

I'm not sure about the fiber bars, but I was told I even needed more fiber, in my diet. I drink a lot of Tab, but I also have been drinking white cherry power aid, about 2 a day.
I'm having problems peeing too, I had some catheter's left over from my other surgery . I was ready to use them, but managed to go with out.
I think that problem is from meds putting my bladder to sleep.

Caffeine is suppose to give migraines but helps mine.
I'm using the knee walker in my house. Can't use it or the crutches outside. Crutches sink and wheels on knee walker are to little and narrow to work . I asked for a rugged one and complain at Air way but it's all they carry. Calling everybody this week to yell at them. My Friday should never have happened.
My Eli(pup) is upstairs with my mother, she brought him down to see me and he was afraid of knee walker and

Sorry, I won't post anymore.
I'm in a lot of pain, but nurse wants me to hold off on meds until midnight. She feels that meds are causing a lot of my side effects. So we changed up what to take.

Who knew the pain pump had a button to push when more meds are needed?
I found out today when my mother was talking to someone on are list to yell at. I don't remember if I was told Friday or not. I like the nurse, but think Friday has her to rattled to be a good nurse, or it's possible she isn't .
So now I hit the button when I need to, pump will stay in 2 extra days because of all the pervious problems.
We talked to and had return phone calls from all, but the insurance company responsible for covering my expenses .

Pump removed today around 1. Showered and wore out by 3:30.
It's just a foot why can't I function more.

Hang in there, it'll get easier once things begin to heal. Be strong.

Stay strong! This thread is bringing back memories of my spine surgery.

You can do this. Hang in there. The pain and effects of the medication are only a temporary step on your road to recovery. This will pass and you'll start to feel better as each day passes.

It's perfectly alright to have a pity party. This stuff SUCKS.

The key is to let out your frustration and then pick yourself back up. Just vent and keep on truckin! Don't let it consume you. You'll be alright!

Went to Dr in G.R. To get staples pulled. But came home with them. Have a small bump that is either infection or hematoma, so put me on antibiotics and I go back Wed.
But I got something, no more duct taping a garbage bag on to shower!

Don't forget the pro biotics with the antibiotics.
Stay strong and you'll be out skipping rope before you know it.

On the way home with my new cast.
They removed my staples and said incision looking good.
Gave me copies of x-rays, now that I've looked at them I have questions.

Cast looks great, nice and pink! with a hat to keep your toes warm.
How do the xrays look? Think you'll be kicking it soon?

Got walking cast today. When they removed cast I had some sores. They think it was reaction to tape.
