Default 1988 ARGO 6x6 with tracks *** sold sold sold

I don't want to sell this, but I need different equipment for my property, and this would help fund other stuff. So here goes.

1988 Argo Magnum 6x6 with a kohler 18hp motor. Tires are in good shape, no leaks. Recently replaced a lot of shaft/wheel bearings and all but 2 chains. I added a canopy made of cheap black pipe (not a cage, just a canopy cover and to keep branches off the windshield). It is strong enough to strap 2 kayaks on top and go down the trails. It has a Warn winch and currently an LED light bar on the hood

I have not started this thing in about 3 months, but I am fairly certain it would fire up with some starting fluid and a jump. I will try to get it started before anyone would come look at it obviously.

I would trade for a dump truck, fullsize Ford, or Ranger, all must be 4x4. I would also trade for tractors, loaders, etc, or any combination of stuff and cash.

Or, cash price of $3500.

If I get it started this weekend, I'll take pictures with the tracks installed. It truly will go anywhere.

not fast, and not smooth. It is common for people to get more HP out of the engine with just a refreshening of parts, and then they scream. They are not exactly fine tuned high speed machines, and I use this on trails that are trimmed just wide enough to fit on, so I have no use for a faster mode of transport. I usually just run it in low range (oh, forgot to mention it has high and low range). I wouldn't run it very fast with the tracks.

now is the time to do it!!! Easiest time of the year to get out there, but you'll still be walking about 1/3 mile.

Sat. afternoon could be a possibility. I have a few things early to do. FYI I have never fished the lake and have no Idea of the lay of the lake so we might be spending a lot of time drilling holes...lol

but I might be up for it... let me know

It's allive!!!!! I will get the other track on it soon, but you can see how much flotation the tracks provide vs just the tires.

It needs a battery, a little wiring work and a driver.

I've always wanted one of those but don't have a place/use for it. But they are cool.
Does it still float?

Personally, I think you should keep it. You will regret selling it.

yes, it floats. bottom tub is still in great condition and the 2 drain plugs seal very well. It is cool. I should keep it. I should also drink less beer, not spend time and money on racing, and invest more.

oh, and I think this is a 1989, not a 1988 if that makes a difference.
