Hey Hancho, according to their website, its' called the Firehall, not Firehouse. We were headed there tonight but decided with the probable wait & forecast of freezing rain decided to stop in Holly instead.

I'm going to give a month or so before I attempt it...pretty pumped about it though, anything that can knock the French laundry out, and hopefull kick the fenton hotel to change it up a bit. The fenton hotel is by far my favorite place in fenton, they just need to update the menu and dining room

Okay I lied, I went tonight..yetti Mac was pretty good, the armadillo eggs were different, but alright. The red chilli tasted like any other chilli out there. The set up was cool but not very big. The roof will be awesome, the pic of hosemonkey and his boy looks great on the wall

Sister in law lost power so the kids sleepover was cancelled, so we did not get to go.

One thing I like is you can order a hot link plate, the bad is its $10 for one or $15 for two links, but at the wood shop you can get a hot link sidecar for $4...all the exact same sausage

Stupid ice storm. We were heading up there, but it was slick as hell and there was a bunch of cars piled up at Denton hill and White lake road. Fun.

After eating at the restaurant I had some of the worst heartburn of my life, but the poo was no slicker than normal.

Dudes, French laundry sucks! Why they are still open? I dont know. I plan on stopping by the firehall soon after all the hype is gone, but seriously? Nobody goes to the Fenton house? That place is the shit! But they don't serve alcohol

Fenton house is shit...your are right...but if you like lowbrow dinning then I guess you would like the fenton house...and btw the hype will not die down at the fire hall...all of their resteruants are packed all the time, what makes you think this one will be any different?

Finally went here Wednesday for my B-Day. I got the pork shank, corn bread stuffing, and mac n cheese. All were delicious and way too much food to finish in one sitting. Wife got a chicken sandwich that was good. My mom got the pulled pork. It wasn't bad, but none of us were fans of it....weird flavor for sure, even with normal BBQ sauce added. My dad got the hunter burger and said it was good. Badass on tap was tasty too. Got the red pop/pop rocks ice cream for dessert and it was really good too. The building was cool, nice decor, and it'll be awesome with outdoor seating in the summer. The Woodshop food and selection is definitely better, but we'll still be back for sure.

I like it. It's not as good as a lot of the more flavorful microbrews, but I'd still rather drink that than Bud Light or other mainstream high volume beers. I'm all about supporting a good tasting, inexpensive, locally brewed light beer.

Im friends with several of the people at the Union.
After they were on D,D&D the staff could always point out who came there just because of the TV show....they ordered just Mac & Cheese and Badass.
