Default Noahs Ark.....Found.

Maybe not Noah's but a huge 'boat like structure' has been found that fits the description.

It's a bit of a read, they even used science to prove things!

Because you can't prove things with faith

Exactly, but does science, by making one of those 'fair tales' a possible real story, make my faith more realistic to someone who may be skeptical?

BTW, love the comments after.

Especially those that claim this disproves evolution.

All it proves is that a long time ago, someone built a very large boat.

If you take into account the non-supernatural accounts in the Bible, you have:

Noah built an ark. (I'm sure he had several hundred laborers)

Noah loaded it with the local flora and fauna. (Core drill revealed animal dung)

There was a flood. (Unless Noah had a boat built on top of a mountain)

I don't doubt the history in the Bible, although it may be embellished a tad. I just don't see anything that cannot be explained logically.

Brought to you by the same guy who discovered all of the following:

Anchor stones used by Noah on the Ark
The post-flood house, grave markers and tombs of Noah and his wife
The location of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other Cities of the Plain: Zoar, Zeboim and Admah
Sulfur/brimstone balls from the ashen remains of Sodom and Gomorrah.
The Tower of Babel site (in southern Turkey)
How the Egyptians may have built the pyramids
The site of the Israelites' crossing of the Red Sea (located in the Gulf of Aqaba)
Chariot wheels and other relics of the army of Pharaoh at the bottom of the Red Sea
The site of the biblical Mt. Sinai (in Saudi Arabia at Jabal al Lawz)
A chamber at the end of a maze of tunnels under Jerusalem containing artifacts from Solomon's Temple (including the Ark of the Covenant)
The site of the Crucifixion of Jesus
Christ's blood, dripped onto the Mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant beneath the Crucifixion site.
Burial pots off the coast of Ashkelon

it must be noted the bible was "written" by human beings, in some cases many many years after the events of which it speaks. thus the "cannot be explained logically" situation

It must also be noted that the people who 'wrote' (some may have had scribes write them down) the stories lived in a culture of people who, primarily, didn't read or write. This means they had a lot better ability to remember things. Just like most 20 and under's probably couldn't tell you their phone number because they use cell phones now.

I don't think anybody will find the arc. Think about it, after a world wide flood there would have been a need for the wood. For fire, shelter and whatever else they would need it for. Some pieces may be found but the entire boat, I don't think so.

The Bible stories are a lot like talking to my wife.

Deep down, there's a grain of truth, but there is a lot of embellishment.

Before written language was available to everyone, verbal history was the way information was carried from generation to generation.

Many times, having a written copy of the Torah or Bible would be punishable by death by whatever family was in power.

There is plenty of evidence of the historical aspect of the Bible, so it's not a stretch to say that in history, there was someone who commissioned a large ship to be built and gathered as much of the local wildlife as possible on the ship.

There is geological record of flooding in that area of the world as well.

Was it God?

Maybe.

Or........

My mom used to tell us that too. I mean, it was a big Ark so maybe they took the top layers to build shelter. I dunno.

Major Flood = Major sediment = low oxygen levels in water = killing said dinosaurs?

Can you explain the advances in toolery? (I think I just made that word up).

I can agree to that idea though. At least you're willing to contemplate the possibility instead of shrugging it off by making comments like "This again".

History is full of anachronisms.

This is a famous one:
