Default 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton 99 suburban

1999 suburban tow vehicle, can u swap out the front diff from a half ton to a 3/4 ton, without changing axles? and does everything bolt up? just trying to go cheap and change to 4.10

It was? I don't ever recall seeing a 4:10 option on 1/2 ton suburbans, tahoes, or yukons.
