Am I missing something here? I get that it's a nice truck and all... Any prospective buyer (like my self) is going to do exactly what I just did. May be worth making an argument what about your truck makes it ~7K over clean retail. Good luck with sale.

That was one of a couple of "dream trucks" I had on my eyes for a long time. Good luck man. I'd pick it up if I hadn't already found one.....

No problem man it's up on a few diesel forums too. It's not a must sell.

Looks like a pretty damn nice truck all things considered. Definitely a niche market for something in that price range, but if you can find someone looking for a clean 2nd gen that doesn't have 300k miles like most of em, you may find yourself a buyer.

I'm not going to lie.

That is my DREAM truck. If I had the cash I would pay full asking price for it.

I mean that too. That is the EXACT truck I have always wanted.

So all you need to find is someone like me but not poor.

I thought it was high, but my old neighbor pulled that for a 1997/8/9 not sure which year. But was a longbed. GLWS. Someone will not want to do the work you/or prior owner did.

My buddy got offered about 17k for a rust free 2nd gen 12 valve and all he had was a banks air system. Well worth the money. GLWS!

I purchased a 99 Cummins new. It was the best milage of any of the heavey trucks I have owned. 210,000 miles when I sold it. 20.9 mpg highway average over six years running back and forth to Ann arbor.

I just sold my 2002 a month ago that I bought new and it had 233,000 on it. 1 lift pump, 1 injection pump, and 1 turbo. Sold it for $8500 but the body was beat up and needing a makeover. Otherwise it was the perfect truck I could ever ask for.
