Default Wts 1978 Yamaha IT 175

I have a 1978 yamaha it175 2 stroke for sale. Used to ride it quite a bit a couple of years ago. Was gone for a couple of years and now that I'm back have decided to sell it. Last time i used it 3 years ago it would start right up.

I worked on it a bit and it will start with starting fluid and several kicks. When you shift into gear it jumps and stalls. I bought a new clutch cable and it still doesn't disengage all the way. (eBay) probably got the wrong one.

Exhaust leaks at the front cylinder (needs new gasket)

Needs new spark plug

Has old tires. Rear one has a bubble but I rode it anyway.

Needs some tlc and it is a good learner bike. Fix it up or use it for parts. If you know what you're doing I'm sure it would be an afternoon project.

Asking $250 obo

these part out for much more on eBay.

cool bike. My dad has two. After sitting one of them had the same clutch issue. It was because the fibers and steels stuck together. We took the side cover off and took clutch apart, oiled everything up good and put it back together and it works fine. So it should be an easy fix to anyone looking to buy.
