Name that tool

I acquired the item pictured below.

I don't know what the real name is to research for a value to sell. Any help is appreciated either on name and/or value.

Looks like a small wood lathe, but no motor?

Too short to be a truing stand.

We have something here at work that looks similar. We mount a dial indicator on it to measure the runout on circular objects.

What he said. It's a fixture to check runout on round stuff.

it is made by Delta, but I didn't notice really any information on the ID tag or any part of the piece itself.

if it was longer, it could be kept for truing arrows or other shafts, or checking crankshafts, etc. but it looks like it'll come up short in many instances. I think it's about a 24" throat (30" bed), but I haven't measured anything.

I'm just trying to find something similar to compare value, or if it is relatively worthless, a home in my garage.

I'll see if the one we have here has a name on it or something that you might be able to find.

Name that tool?

Easy.

Obama.

It's a tool that looks pretty neat at first, but after you look closer you see that is damn near useless.
