Default DONE - Black Friday/Thanksgiving Deals on Rubicon 4.88/5.13 gears - DELETE

Thanksgiving/Black Friday is a typically a great weekend to buy stuff due to deep discounts. I have to decide what gears to run, but if you hear of a place offering good discounts on gears, please let me know.

I have a 2005 Rubicon and I am going to run either 4.88's or 5.13's. It's an auto with 35's, and is less than desireable with 4.10's and highway driving.

Much appreciated!

Default Rubicon Gears

I have Rubicon Gears brand new in the box. They are for 2005 Rubicon and are 513s.

This is complete front and rear for Dana 44s.

I also have complete bearing kits for the front and rear that will be included.

Located Dayton, Ohio....$450 for both sets of gears and complete bearings.

Thanks, Teach

Truthfully I am leaning more towards 4.88's.. But what brand are the gears, what brand are the install kits? And is this a shipped price?

Default Gears.

I am not a shop, I bought these for mine and never got around to changing them out. They are Precision Gear products.

Everything is brand new in the box. I took some pictures this afternoon if you are interested. I have close to $600 in them and they have not been out of the box.

I would rather have a little more gear than not...just like tires.

I'm also looking for gears. Rustys is the best I have found so far...

Well the rustys deal looks like 580 front and rear with both installs. Not bad.

Yj60, let me think in this a smidge. Unless I talk myself out of the ratio I may be in.

You are speaking from experience? From my research 4.88's are a slightly lower equivalent to the 4.10's and 30's. At 65 mph, the 5.13's are only about 200 rpm's higher however.
