Not sure if this is a or not ...

There aren't enough under-powered small twins available here, this should fix it

With all that "new age" modern technology they are using (you know, the stuff every other manufacturer was using 30 years ago) they could blow away a current big twin with a 500 or a 750.

The HD experience isn't about speed.

It's about dressing up in leather and hanging out with other dudes dressed in leather.

Still no 'official' horsepower ratings. Have they broken 70hp yet?

And mor leather. The overseas bikes are all liquid cooled for a reason. Nobody wants an air cooled hardly in a traffic jam.

dura-solid + hardley = fail. They already have shitty paint, electronic issues, and a low max rpm (hp)

With the more modern technology how could it not break 70 HP?

However, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a note from the top that says, "it's not allowed to make more HP than a 103". ;)

Truth. I took the 65 Ducati out to a cruise once. It did not like it.

Sounds like skidoo and their "500SS" and "600HO" engines.

They rated the 500SS @ 103HP, and the 600HO at 110...

Then real world dyno results:

500ss = 115hp
600 = 110hp.

those fuckers charged a premium for the "high performance 600"

I don't have the HP numbers of the latest HD stuff, but a stock EVO 80" makes 52 RWHP, as witnessed on a chassis dyno. My 89 FLHTC with a couple performance mods makes 80 RWHP. I do not consider it fast, merely what a touring bike should have as a minimum.

I like the looks and sound of the bike, the wife likes the 'other benefits'...
